Dawley Dental Practice is a Family based practice established in 1962. Since
then the practice has expanded to four Dentists, two Dental Hygienists and a
reputation for high quality dentistry at reasonable fees. We provide treatment
to the whole community, and provide a full range of treatment both privately and on the NHS.
We accept new patients, and can usually offer an initial
consultation within a few days of your phone call. If you have not visited us
before, and have an urgent problem, we can usually arrange an emergency appointment the same day. If you are a
regular patient of the practice, we aim to always offer you a same day emergency appointment. Children in pain are always
seen the same day.
Our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700
We provide an out of hours emergency service, up to 8pm , seven days a week,
accessed by phoning the normal practice number
Many new patients come to us by recommendation . Their
friends and relatives think we provide a good service, and told them so.

Most patients who join the Practice want to always see the
same professionals each visit. We encourage this because we find this is in
everyone's best interest. It provides for continuity of care, and treatment
from someone who knows your dental history, and is much preferable to seeing a
different Dentist and Hygienist every time you attend.
NHS treatment is provided free of
charge to adults who are claiming; Income Support, Working Families Tax Credit,
(and also a certificate confirming entitlement to free treatment )Income Based
Jobseekers Allowance, or who have an NHS charge
exemption certificate. Children up to eighteen years, and students in full time
education up to nineteen years are also treated on the NHS
free of charge.
We provide a full range of treatment, including fillings,
dentures, crowns and bridges, implants, veneers, removal of wisdom teeth,
preventive treatment, fissure sealing and oral hygiene instruction. We are
happy to see nervous patients. If there are any treatments which we cannot
provide in the Practice, we can provide referrals to local specialists.
We have three downstairs surgeries, with wheelchair access,
and are very happy to provide treatment for disabled people.
We have a large car park within the practice grounds, and
vehicle access to our front door.
Once you become a patient at Dawley Dental Practice, we will
provide you with a high standard of service to the best of our abilities. We
will provide you with treatment at appointment times chosen in consultation
with you. In exchange we ask that if you make an appointment which you cannot
keep, please give us as much notice as possible, so that we can use the time to
see someone else.
We always try to run our appointments to time, but
occasionally we run late, if we have had to see someone who has an urgent
problem. If we are running late, we will keep you informed, and give you the
option to make another appointment if you cannot wait.
We ask you to pay for your treatment on the day you receive
treatment. We may ask you for an initial deposit if we will incur laboratory
costs as part of your treatment.
We accept cheques(with a cheque guarantee card), and most
credit/debit cards.
We offer Denplan Essentials as our method of paying for
dental care.
..Our
Denplan Essentials patients pay £10-95 per month. This covers the cost of six
monthly check up and Hygienist appointments, together with all x rays.......If no treatment is
needed, there is no more to pay. If treatment is provided, there is 15%
discount off our normal fees.
In addition, Denplan patients
have access at no extra cost to a world wide network of emergency dental
treatment organised through a freephone number. By joining Denplan you can
receive the best preventive treatment we can provide, without the worry of
unexpected dental bills.
